The first time I attempted to have sex with a girl, I was 16-years-old. She invited me over and I lied to my parents and told them her parents were home. I remember being in her bedroom, she's telling me what to do, and it felt awkward.
I knew I was doing it to prove a point. I wanted to prove that I was straight when I knew I wasn't. The whole time she tried to seduce me, I couldn't get aroused. I didn't want her to see that I'm wasn't excited. I was forcing myself to do something that simply wasn't in my nature.
Since then, I've learned you have to be yourself. I've tried and it wasn't for me. It's OK to try things. I am who I am and there's nothing wrong with that. I can't force myself to love a girl intimately in a romantic way, if I don't have the desire. I don't want to live a lie.
