RuPaul Nabs Hulu TV Series Based on His Early Life Titled 'Queen'

RuPaul is receiving another television series, this one based on his life!

Hulu is developing the half-hour dramedy, produced by J.J. Abrams and tentatively titled Queen. The series will focus on the magical land of 1980s New York, and RuPaul's rise from club kid to supermodel of the world. 

RuPaul told Page Six, "This is about my New York life in the '80s. Interview Magazine in those days was my Bible. I grew up in San Diego wanting to be Andy Warhol. No grim storyline about white guys sniffing white powder. It’s the Yellow Brick Road. Wanting to go to six different clubs every night."

The world's most famous drag queen also wants Willow Smith to play him in the series!
