The "It Gets Better" video universe for LGBT youth now includes 13 senators who released their own version Wednesday. The video features Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), Chris Coons (D-Del.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Al Franken (D-Minn.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Mark Udall (D-Colo.), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.).

Coons pointed out how there is the First Amendment, and it bars Congress making laws on establishment of religion. O'Donnell did not believe him, and asked "You're telling me that's in the First Amendment?"
Christine O’Donnell, the Republican senate candidate from Delaware, repeatedly defended the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy in a debate Wednesday night by arguing that the military also does not allow adultery. The Wonk Room reports on the debate between Democrat Chris Coons and O’Donnell, who gay-baited her primary opponent and has a lesbian sister helping her campaign.
Tea Party candidate Christine O'Donnell on Tuesday defeated Rep. Mike Castle in the Republican primary for vice president Joseph Biden's former Senate seat in Delaware. O'Donnell's win complicates the GOP's chances of recapturing a majority in the Senate — O'Donnell is seen as a long shot at prevailing in November against Democratic nominee Chris Coons, a state executive. O'Donnell is a far right candidate who has made stances against masturbation and pornography.
