Congratulations are in order to Uzo Aduba for nabbing the Emmy for outstanding guest actress for her portrayal of the beloved, complicated lesbian character Crazy Eyes on Orange Is the New Black. The classically trained actress accepted her award at the Creative Arts Emmys Saturday, marking the first acting win for Netflix’s breakout series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Aduba, 33, was nominated along with her OITNB costars Natasha Lyonne, and Laverne Cox, who made history by becoming the first transgender woman nominated in a trans role. Other heavy hitters in Aduba’s category were Tina Fey and Melissa McCarthy for hosting Saturday Night Live and Joan Cusack for Shameless.

If winning her first Emmy weren’t enough, Aduba accepted the award from Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman. Moved to tears at the podium, Aduba said, "I don’t know how to say how incredibly impressed I am to be a part of this show day in, day out.”

Speaking with reporters backstage Aduba explained why she couldn’t stop crying. "I feel so full, that’s why the tears come out. I’m stuffed. My cup runneth over right now. Mission accomplished, thank you."

OITNB landed several other Emmys on Saturday including for casting and for editing. View the full list of winners here.

There will be more opportunities for OITNB to scoop up some golden statues next week. The Primetime Emmys will air on Aug. 25, and Taylor Schilling is nominated for best actress in a comedy while Kate Mulgrew is up for best supporting actress in a comedy.
