Filming for the upcoming Heartstopper movie wrapped yesterday in London, and the actors shared their feelings about the emotional journey of wrapping up the series. The movie, officially titled Heartstopper Forever, is set to be released in 2026. As of this writing, Netflix has not yet shared a specific release date.
Plot details for the movie are also being kept secret as of right now, but it is expected to wrap up the main characters' love story over the past few years and watch them learn to figure out their new relationship as Nick goes off to college.
Alice Oseman, who wrote the original graphic novel and serves as the creator of the Netflix adaptation, uploaded a photo of a tree with "N+C" carved into it and a caption that reads, "Day 35. That’s a wrap on the Heartstopper film."
