On Feb. 22, Disney XD's animated series Star vs. the Forces of Evil aired an episode featuring a same-sex kiss during a casual pan of a scene in which Star, the show's titular character, has to process her friend Marco being in a relationship with another girl.
The fleeting moment says quite a bit by hardly saying anything at all. Among the many messages, the most important of all being:Â You belong here.
