We love everyone at this bar!!

We all know there’s way too much to love about Schitt’s Creek. All the quotes, the jokes, the outfits — it’s basically impossible to keep track at this point, there’s too much excellence. But one utterly iconic bit from the show is Alexis Rose’s short-lived reality show past, which resulted in a song we will literally never get out of our heads, “A Little Bit Alexis.”

Fortunately for everyone, Kelly Clarkson invited Annie Murphy onto her show to give a live performance of Alexis’s (not quite smash hit) song. And Clarkson herself decided to join in for a bit of a country remix, of sorts.

It starts off as phenomenally awkward as one would hope, very reminiscent of when we saw Alexis audition for the town production of Cabaret.

And then Kelly joins in, adding her own verse to the ridiculous song we all know and love.

“I’m a classic Bronco, I’m on Texas time, I’m a whole lotta tipsy when I drink fine wine,” she sing-talks.

Between a little bit Alexis and a whole lot of Texas, it’s impossible not to hold this version of the song in high regards. It just adds to the constant slew of things that prove Schitt’s Creek has infiltrated pop culture and mainstream consciousness far more than anyone could’ve predicted at the show’s inception. American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson adding a verse to a joke song from the small queer Canadian show that could? Um, yes, please, thank you we all deserve this.

And if Kelly and Annie wanna get together and do a proper studio recording of this remix, we would looooove to see it.
