Are you one of those Orange is the New Black shippers who’s chomping at the bit for crumbs of news about the series because you binge-watched it in the first 13 hours it was available on Netflix and now you have to wait an entire YEAR for more? Here’s a little something for you if you are – the cast of OITNB appeared at Paleyfest: Made in New York yesterday and they all looked pretty much nothing like the characters the prisoners they play on the show. On hand for Paleyfest were the show’s star Taylor Schilling (Piper), Natasha Lyonne (Nicky), Kate Mulgrew (Red), Danielle Brooks (Taystee), Taryn Manning (Pennsatucky), Madeline Brewer (Tricia), the real Piper (Kerman), and the series creator Jenji Kohan. Sadly, Laura Prepon (Alex) skipped Paleyfest and turned up at the Machete Kills premiere instead.Â
Taylor is picture perfect out of her beige scrubs.Â
Danielle's Taystee always looks adorable but look at her with her hair up!Â
Madeline is nearly unrecognizable without the cornrows.Â
Looks like Piper and Red are friendly in real life.Â
Show us your teeth Taryn!Â
Natasha looks like she's having a blast.Â
Lyonne, Jason Biggs, Schilling, Jenji Kohan, Brooks, Piper Kerman, Manning and Mulgrew
