Hot off of her electrifying, if not toned down, Sound of Music medley at the Academy Awards on Sunday, Mother Monster has found her niche in the TV landscape. Lady Gaga will star in American Horror Story’s 5th season, according to Vulture.
While FX remains tight-lipped on details about the upcoming series (other than the fact that production begins in July, and the show will run beginning in October) Gaga did spill in a Tweet that the next seasons will be called American Horror Story: Hotel.
As Vulture points out, there is no information at this point as to whether or not AHS stalwart Jessica Lange will return for the upcoming season, or any other regulars including Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, and Lily Rabe for that matter.
This may be Gaga’s first foray into a TV series, but she has acted before in Robert Rodriguez’s uber-campy Machete Kills and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
