Things are moving right along this season on Weeds. This week, starting exactly where last week left off, our anti-heroine Nancy Botwin, is still in the middle of two Russian siblings – one her current fuck buddy/pot supplier, the other her lesbian fling/cellmate from prison – trying to get her pot supply.
Zoya, Nancy’s former cellmate, is the older sister of Demetri, Nancy’s new supplier. Zoya’s early release from prison and subsequent appearance at Demetri’s apartment is a very unpleasant surprise for Mama Botwin. It's no surprise that Demetri failed to alert Nancy of Zoya’s arrival.
Considering that Zoya climbed out of the shower to discover Nancy and Demetri getting cozy, she is not as angry as one might expect of a hardened Russian jailbird. Zoya reacts by seducing Nancy into submission with her determined gaze… and a menacing looking knife.
“Who do you belong to?” she demands of Nancy, although there shouldn’t be much question considering how the situation looks from my couch.
There is a quick jump to Andy, Silas and their bike shop, before we return to Nancy, who is now trapped in bed – or on the couch – with Zoya. Still determined to get her pot supply, Nancy inches out from under Zoya’s arm and into Demetri’s room. After a quickie, it seems as though Nancy may finally get out of the apartment with her supply, but that would just be too easy.
Zoya catches her lover trying to make off with the pot, and in the end, all Nancy leaves with are some seriously hardcore hickies.

All that drama aside, Nancy is released from her halfway house due to the conditions of her new agreement to provide the SEC with evidence against her new place of employment, Vehement Capital. At work, with hickies glowing brighter than her smile, Nancy is copying files onto a flash drive when the CEO, Foster Klein, flirtatiously inquires what his new favorite secretary is doing. Needless to say, Nancy takes off for the SEC offices with the flash drive.
The SEC tells Nancy the information she got was nothing new, and she will have to return to prison. Weighing her options, Nancy decides to use Foster to get more details about the possible investment fraud for the SEC.
A very determined Nancy gets Foster to take her out to a dinner of endangered species, or something equally as incriminating, in the kitchen of a shi-shi restaurant. The SEC has Nancy wearing a wire so they can listen in on all the dirt Foster may give to Nancy, but despite her best efforts -- one being Nancy “dropping” the wire in the bathroom sink -- Foster isn’t in the mood to discuss work.
With a replacement wire appearing before Nancy could even turn off the faucet thanks to the SEC, she returns to her date. After arriving back at the loft, Nancy tries telling Foster that he should go, as her kids will be awake. Silas appears, freaking out about threats to their dealing business from Denny – the guy who used to deal to occupants of the Vehement Capital offices prior to Nancy’s arrival – and joins his mother’s efforts convincing Foster to bounce.
Silas is just as unaware of Nancy’s wire as Foster, but unlike the fraudulent CEO, Silas can’t stop yammering on about the illegal activities going on around him.
While Silas is running his mouth, Foster follows him and Nancy into the back room where Andy is enjoying the company of Demetri… and his pot.
This is only the beginning – we are talking about Nancy Botwin, after all. Nancy is obviously stunned at the situation, which is also hindering her ability to think clearly about how to avoid having every word be overheard by the Feds on the other end of the wire.
The downfall continues as Demetri snaps at Foster while Andy prepares to smoke and Silas struggles to slow the deterioration of the situation.

Cue Zoya’s arrival on scene.
She greets Andy and Silas with serious enthusiasm--as she has never met them but has heard plenty about them while locked in a cell for days on end with the hottest MILF on television--then proceeds to throw her arms around Nancy and force her into a kiss for all to see.
“This is my new business partner and the love of my life,” Zoya announces to the already dumbfounded loft crowd.
Apparently Nancy’s prison fling isn’t the worst judge of character, because her next move is to ask Foster to leave. “I don’t like you, and I have a bad habit of losing things I don’t like in fires.”
Poor Nancy is as shocked as the rest of the criminals in the room – and is still wearing the wire.
Here’s to Zoya keeping up these surprise appearances, and plenty more lesbian action with Nancy…
