The Ellen DeGeneres Show returns with a week-long season premiere celebration with host Ellen DeGeneres featuring a bevy of celebrities and one very special guest from the armed forces.

US Air Force Staff Sergeant Angie Johnson captured attention with her soulful lead vocals in the viral YouTube hit of military band Sidewinder covering Adele's "Rolling In The Deep." The clip, filmed during an acoustic performance somewhere in Southwest Asia, has already amassed over 1.4 million views.

The band’s mission is to boost the morale of the troops while stationed in the Middle East, but their talent and tenacity has reached far further than they ever imagined, thanks to the power of the web.

Now, Sgt. Johnson has been invited to appear in the September 13 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, much to her delight.

"Are you kidding me? I am shocked,” Johnson gushed over the Ellen appearance. “This is so rad! I can't wait to meet ELLEN!"

The episode will air on September 13 and will also feature David Arquette.
