Charlie's Angels Whips Out Minka Kelly / Rachael Taylor Kiss - And it's Not Even Sweeps!

The powers that be on Charlie’s Angels have whipped out the oldest ratings trick in the book -- a lesbian kiss between costars Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor, and it’s not even sweeps yet! But based on the Charlie’s Angel’s reboot having been universally panned by critics and the low ratings to accompany that sentiment perhaps producers are thinking they might not make it November sweeps.

The powers that be on Charlie’s Angels have whipped out the oldest ratings trick in the book -- a lesbian kiss! In this case the kiss is between costars Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor, which could be a good thing. But it begs the question as to how it fits into the plot as this sort of ploy is typically reserved for sweeps.

Based on the Charlie’s Angel’s reboot having been universally panned by critics and the low ratings to accompany that sentiment perhaps producers are thinking the show might not make it November sweeps.

According to The Huffington Post photographers just happened to be on set the day that costars Kelly and Taylor locked lips affording the opportunity for rumors of the girl-on-girl kiss to leak, although there’s been no mention of the plot that would faciliate having these lovelies engaged in a kiss.

But perhaps I’m just a cynic. A lesbian kiss is a lesbian kiss even if there’s virtually no context right? Or, perhaps Charlie’s Angels will surprise the skeptic in everyone and flesh out a full-on love story between its stars to rival that of a Calzona or Brittana. Executive producer Drew Barrymore is a friend and ally to the LGBT community, so yeah, we'll go with that.

Either way, here’s the photo in question.
