Summit Entertainment released the trailer for Gone, a new thriller starring Amanda Seyfried, this morning.
Seyfried plays Jill Parrish, who comes home from her night shift to find her sister’s bed empty and is convinced that a serial killer who took her two years before (and left her to die in a hole in the middle of the woods) has also taken her sister. After receiving no sympathy from the police, Jill decides to handle things on her own. Knowing that time is running out and with no one to turn to, Jill sets off to find her sister and face her abductor.
The film, written by Allison Burnett and directed by Heitor Dhalia, also stars Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter), Kate Moennig (The L Word), Erin Carufel (Elena Undone), Emily Wickersham and Jeanine Jackson (The Craft). Gone hits theaters February 24, 2012.
