Wanda Sykes Talks Politics and Plural Marriages on The Freakshow - Listen

Comedian Wanda Sykes called into Wild 94.1’s morning radio show The Freakshow to talk politics, marriage and her kids.

Sykes gives her opinion on which Republican candidate she thinks has the most potential to be made fun of and the candidate who could provide Sykes with the potential to having three or four wives.

Regarding multiple marriages, Sykes says, “I don’t know why the Mormons don’t embrace that, that’s a good idea if you ask me. They should stick with that.”

“Plural marriages – I like that. Get your freak on!” Sykes clarifies, “But seriously, you get sick of people every now and then. Wouldn’t it be nice if your spouse could just go off some place, and you know where they are, but they just go away for a few days and you aint got to be bothered? That’s a vacation. I like that, that’s a good idea.”

Sykes also chats about how her twins are kicking her butt. For example, her son came up to her yesterday and handed her a booger. She explained, “people know me. I’m a celebrity. Usually people come up and they hand me flowers, or you know, they want me to sign something. I’ve never had nobody just hand me a booger.”

How else would Sykes react other than, “oh no, you little nasty bastard. I don’t want your booger. What the hell’s wrong with you?”
