k.d. Lang Dissolves Domestic Partnership with Jamie Price

Crooner k.d. Lang has filed papers to dissolve her domestic partnership with Jamie Price. Grammy winner, Lang, a native of Canada, made headlines when she came out of the closet in 1992. Her pioneering coming out continues to be celebrated as Glee’s lesbian character Santana recently sang Lang’s mega-hit “Constant Craving” in her coming out episode.

Crooner k.d. Lang has filed papers to dissolve her domestic partnership with Jamie Price, according to TMZ.

Lang and Price met in 2003 at an event held by a Buddhist teacher, according to an interview with Curve.

Multi-Grammy winner, Lang, a native of Canada, made headlines when she came out of the closet in 1992. Her pioneering coming out continues to be celebrated as Glee’s lesbian character Santana recently sang Lang’s mega-hit “Constant Craving” in her coming out episode. 

An ardent Buddhist, Price, according to Times Quotidian, was a founding member and executive director of Ari Bhod, whose mission it is “to preserve and transmit the priceless legacy of the ancient Tibetan Nyingma lineage tradition.”

Lang and Price became domestic partners in California and made their home together in the Los Angeles hills.
