'Buffy' Vampire Villain Drusilla Returns in Comic Book Form

Landau is writing the issues, which are part of Buffy creator Josh Whedon and Dark Horse Comics’ expansion of Buffy in comic book form.

Drusilla, the vampire villainess played by Juliet Landau on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is back!

Dru is being turned into a five-issue comic book miniseries, EW reports. Landau is writing the issues, which are part of Buffy creator Josh Whedon and Dark Horse Comics’ expansion of Buffy in comic book form.

Landau’s Drusilla was a favorite of Buffy fans, despite appearing in just 17 episodes of the show. The series will launch in June, and Landau told EW the first issue will begin “literally a panel after” Dru’s last appearance in the Angel & Faith comic series. “I think you will get different sides of Drusilla than you have ever seen before,” Landau added.

She couldn’t give out any more detail, but EW did offer a first look at the main cover of the first issue, illustrated by Steve Morris. Check it out below:
