CBS daytime talk show The Talk was renewed for a third season, the network announced Thursday, with everyone staying on board, including lesbian cohost Sara Gilbert.
CBS television studios president David Stapf said there would be not casting shakeups because the panel worked so well together. Julie Chen, Sharon Osborne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood are Gilbert's costars who will all return for the third season.
"Much of the success can be attributed to our hosts’ chemistry and the work of our producers, whose selection of topics and guests are clearly resonating with viewers” he said in a statement, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The show was in tumult after two of the original panelists, Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete, left the show.
