Bonnie Raitt's New Video Features Lesbian and Gay Couples in Love - Watch

There’s plenty of good news for Bonnie Raitt fans as Slipstream, her first release since 2005, is getting critical raves. Now, she’s released the video for her cover of Gerry Rafferty’s Right Down the Line, which features couples in love, including lesbian and gay couples kissing.

There’s plenty of good news for Bonnie Raitt fans as Slipstream, her first release since 2005, is getting critical raves. Now, she’s released the video for her cover of Gerry Rafferty’s Right Down the Line, which features couples in love, including lesbian and gay couples kissing.

Raitt, 62, has been recording killer music since the early 70s.  On Slipstream her signature bluesy voice is as pristine as ever and she can still hold her own as one of the best slide guitarists in the business.

A political and environmental and all-around equal rights activist since the 70s, it’s no wonder Raitt so seamlessly slips lesbian and gay couples in to her video.
