Jane Lynch on 'Glee,' Married Life and Student Loans? - Watch

Jane Lynch made an appearance on CBS News this week to talk about Glee, married life – and student loans?

The actress is using her renown to educate the public about an issue she says she feels passionately about. Lynch recently launched the website of the National College Finance Center, an organization offering resources and information about the different options for financing a college education.

In the United States there is more student loan debt than credit card debt, Lynch said on the show, and she hopes NCFC can help prospective students make informed decisions about student loans.

“I hope that people will take on debt knowingly, knowing what the terms are,” she told CBS anchors. “[If] you’re armed with information, then you’re not blindsided when you get out of school.”
