Watch: Santana's Deleted Coming Out Scene on 'Glee'

Glee's creator Ryan Murphy recently joined the ranks of Twitter, which is a good thing if he continues to release little gems like Santana’s deleted coming out scene, which he did via the social networking giant. Of course, one does wonder why the scene was cut from the original episode.

Santana, played by the multi-talented Naya Rivera, came out last season on Glee but the actual scene in which she tells her fellow Cheerios that she is indeed the big L was never shown, likely to make more time for Finn (Cory Monteith) to bully her into coming out, but for now it's time to be thankful for this scene to break up the monotony of a long Santana-free summer. The scene was axed from the “I Kissed a Girl” episode that did feature loads of fun music including Santana and Rachel (Lea Michele) singing Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” and Santana and Shelby (Idina Menzel) crooning kd lang’s “Constant Craving.”

In the deleted scene Santana warns the Cheerios that she’s about to be outed in a hateful political ad and goes on to say, “It’s no secret that Brittany (Heather Morris) and I are together. I thought it was just a phase, you know, just a fun thing that would eventually go away. But I guess what I’ve realized is that I am gay.”

But don’t let us tell you about it. Here’s Santana in her own words.
