Shot of the Day: Meryl Streep and Hillary Clinton Create a New Meme?

Talk about making my Grinch heart grow two sizes – or more – at the holidays. This photo of Meryl Streep and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton at the Kennedy Center Honors just makes me happy and warms my heart. It’s not the first time these titans have hung out together – Meryl paid tribute to Hillary in a funny and generous speech earlier this year.

This photo of Meryl Streep and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton at the Kennedy Center Honors just makes me happy and warms my heart. It’s not the first time these titans have hung out together – Meryl paid tribute to Hillary in a funny and generous speech earlier this year.


The Secretary of State hosted the affair on Dec. 1 in Washington D.C. to honor Buddy Guy, Dustin Hoffman, David Letterman, ballerina Natalia Makarova and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant or contributions to the arts.
