Country singer Chely Wright and her wife Lauren Blitzer welcomed identical twin sons on Saturday, according to People.

Wright, 42, announced that she was pregnant back in January of this year. The little guys, George Samuel and Everett Joseph, arrived a bit early as they were due in June, but Wright’s rep told People that the boys are “thriving.”

“We are grateful for all the amazing medical care and the love and support of family and friends,” Wright told People.

Wright became the first out lesbian country star when she went public with her coming out in 2010. She documented her struggles in the book and documentary of the same name Wish Me Away.

In 2011, about a year after she came out, Wright married her partner Blitzer.
