A portion of the profits from subscription to the web-series We Have To Stop Now, starring SheWired's very own Jill Bennett and Cathy DeBuono, will now be donated to relief efforts in the disaster-ravaged Haiti.
A favorite lesbian web series, it already had two great reasons to subscribe for SheWired readers: Cathy DeBuono and Jill Bennet. The out spoken, provocative stars of What’s Your Problem play the leads: two lesbian therapists struggling to keep up the pretense of their own relationship after the success of their book “How To Succeed In Marriage Without Even Trying.”
"We wanted to be able to contribute something to the efforts being made in Haiti right now. We decided that, for any subscriptions we can gather for season two between now and January 31, we will send a percentage of the proceeds to Haiti," said DeBuono. "We're hoping that this helps to raise some relief support sooner rather than later."
Season one of the Internet hit will be available on DVD this summer through Wolfe Releasing. Season two boasts the return of Suzanne Westenhoefer, and welcomes guest star and recently out actress Meredith Baxter along with a long list of other out, lesbian celebrity participants. A full video re-cap of Season One will also be available to Season Two Subscribers to help fans catch up with the show so far.
