Actress Jane Lynch, who in real life recently married partner Lara Embry in Massachusetts nuptials, is getting married again... this time in the season finale of the Starz’ TV series Party Down.
Lynch, who had to bow out of her role as Constance Carmell on the show when Glee and her Sue Sylvester character rocketed to fame, carved out some time from her busy schedule to appear in the season two finale. Her Party Down character is an actress who has toiled away as an extra but never had that breakout role. Now she is getting married, and has hired all of her catering company co-workers to make sure they attend the wedding.
"I was thrilled when we were able to figure out the schedule so I could come back for season two," Lynch said. "This is such a talented group."
The original series, starring Adam Scott, Lizzy Caplan, Martin Starr, Ken Marino, Ryan Hansen and season two newcomer Megan Mullally (Will and Grace), is based on a crew of caterers who work for tips while dreaming about the careers they really want.
The Party Down season finale airs on Starz Friday, June 25 at 10PM ET/PT
