LezBeProud is The Texas Lesbian's Answer to 'The Real L Word'

Grab your cowgirl hat and your assless chaps, ladies. It’s time to celebrate a new lesbian web-series – the Texas answer to LA’s The Real L Word.

LezBeProud follows the lives of two lesbian couples in Bible belt Texas living their lives out and proud, and giving a true representation of the Texas lesbian lifestyle. The first episode, Fight for Equality,gives the viewers the background information on how each couple met, the wedding proposal with a slight “twist”, and a tear-jerking Valentine’s Day.

In honor of the Memorial Day Weekend launch, the LezBeProud team dedicated the first episode to all the LGBT members who serve this country in both the military, and public service. Dawn, of the Debbi/Dawn couple and a former Marine, discloses the struggles of being in the military and working for the state of Texas all the while keeping her lifestyle closeted... until now.

The ladies have also composed a series of bloopers that can be purchased on their website. Each month, funds raised will be donated to a different organization. For the month of May, all the proceeds from the episode 1 bloopers will be donated to Service Members United.

Since the May 26 launch, the show has generated more than 10,000 views.
