Samantha Ronson, the 33-year old DJ who had a well-publicized relationship with Lindsay Lohan, was arrested at 10:30 am Monday outside of Baker, CA for driving under the influence, Us Weekly confirmed.
According to a law enforcement officer, Ronson was driving 89 MPH through a 70 MPH zone in her black Porsche Targa. “Speed was why she was stopped, but she was arrested on [two] misdemeanors of driving under the influence," an officer told Us. “When she was stopped, she showed signs of being impaired. [The officer] gave her balance tests and she showed signs of alcohol intoxication.”
Ronson, who had an on-again-off-again relationship with troubled starlet Lohan in 2008 and 2009, was alone when she was arrested. “She was friendly and talkative,” according to an officer. “She was cooperative throughout the whole ordeal.”
Ronson "admitted she had consumed alcohol early [that] morning or late last night, and was on her way home [from Las Vegas]" an officer said. “She went to bed and got up this morning and was on her way home.” She was released at 5:30 pm on Monday from the San Bernadino Sheriff’s office.
