Buffy the Vampire Slayer producer Marti Noxon and renowned director of so many things lesbian including The L Word and D.E.B.S, Angela Robinson, have teamed up to deliver a self-reflexive look at Hollywood from the rich-kid, spoiled teen point of view with Gigantic on TeenNick, which premiered Oct. 8.

Now, you can watch the pilot online for the show that stars Meryl Streep’s doppelganger daughter Grace Gummer as Anna, a slightly naïve child of Hollywood parents who’s just moved back to Lala Land after a two-year reprieve; Ryan Rottman as Joey, Anna’s problematic love interest and the show’s heartbreaker;  Joe Mantegna’s daughter Gia Mantegna as the jaded, Robertson Blvd.-shopping manipulative type; and notably, The L Word’s Laurel Holloman as Joey’s hot mom.

And if we’re watching our queer quotient, D.E.B.S star Jordana Brewster also appears in the pilot as a random red carpet celebrity type.

There’s no news yet as to any overt lesbian plotlines, but with Robinson at the helm and a distinct queer sensibility, here’s hoping Gigantic throws in a South of Nowhere style love story.
