Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: LGBTQ Rights Are 'Basic Human Rights'
When speaking with youth activists at the Commonwealth Youth Forum, the royal couple stated they will put LGBTQ rights at the front of their work together.
JoJo Siwa's exes are banding together to create TikTok content.
Last week, Avery Cyrus posted a 13 second video of her and Kath Ebbs shaking hands (yes, for the entire 13 seconds) while the intro to "Illegal" by PinkPatheress played.
The lyrics just might have some relevancy here, as the two were lip syncing to them on screen: "My name is Pink and I'm really glad to meet you / You're recommended to me by some people / Hey, ooh, is this illegal? / Hey, ooh, it feels illegal."
Cyrus and Siwa broke up ages ago after dating for only three months in 2022. But their breakup was a strange one, involving a cruise and a clip of Siwa giving Cyrus a gift while saying, "This is my 'sorry for breaking up with you' present."
Siwa's mother later posted a video of her daughter stomping around, seemingly distraught as she claimed she "got used for views and clout," which fans were quick to assume had something to do with Cyrus.
The Dance Moms alum's relationship with Ebbs ended with just as much mess, if not more. The two were in a long distance relationship during Siwa's time on Big Brother UK, during which she had some revelations about her sexuality and cozied up to fellow contestant Chris Hughes.
Ebbs later revealed Siwa broke up with them after they flew to London for the finale episode, despite previously discussing the possibility of marriage. Not long after, Siwa and Hughes officially began dating.
Cyrus and Ebbs didn't reveal what led to them meeting or teaming up for a couple of TikTok videos (Ebbs also posted a lip sync video with the two of them on their own page), but reactions were definitely split. Some viewers were all in for the drama, while others thought it felt just a little too cringe.
"This is big news for the unemployed community," one wrote.
"I can only imagine the amount of trauma bonding happening within this friendship," said another.
On Cyrus's video, one fan called it "so iconic and shady" while another claimed "this is the energy this pride was missing."
"the definition of never moving on," another viewer snarked.
Will Siwa's other exes from her prior messy breakups make an appearance next? Undoubtedly some folks will be checking TikTok with their fingers crossed, hoping it will happen.
That said, something tells us that Chris Hughes won't be quite as welcome to hang after he and Siwa eventually call it quits.

While the Materialists press tour seemed to be designed specifically for bisexuals, the Jurassic World: Rebirth press tour is all about Jonathan Bailey and his undeniable chemistry with literally everyone, and, of course, his “slutty little glasses.”
Bailey may be gay in real life, but he has undeniable chemistry with his co-star Scarlett Johansson, and the two even made headlines for sharing two smooches on the red carpet.
But it was Bailey’s “slutty little glasses” that really stole the show and the press tour got underway. The internet went into a frenzy when he wore a pair of tiny glasses in the trailer, and then he continued to rile everyone up by wearing different pairs during the press tour.
And he's using the thirsty hubbub for a great cause. The actor is — through his charitable foundation, The Shameless Fund — is collaborating with the brand Cubitts, which created the glasses for his character in the film, on a pair of "Shameless little glasses," the proceeds of which will go to supporting LGBTQ+ rights and organisations.
When the film premiered in London, Bailey even told Entertainment Tonight, "I'm thrilled that people are, they're having a hormonal explosion linked to optical supports. But I think, yeah, glasses can go a long way, so let's have the summer of slutty little glasses.”

Pedro Pascal and J.K. Rowling have been making headlines over the past week after a Vanity Fair interview addressed earlier remarks The Mandalorian star made about Rowling's relentless anti-trans crusade.
Now, Rowling has responded.
But first, let's back up and take a look at the bigger picture of why these two are going at it in the first place.
How did the JKR vs Pedro Pascal feud begin?

In April 2025, Rowling made a cruel post celebrating a Supreme Court ruling in the UK defining "sex" as referring to biological sex rather than gender identity.
"I love it when a plan comes together," she wrote on X, sharing a picture of her smoking a cigar with a glass of what appears to be whiskey in hand.
It sparked plenty of backlash, including an Instagram video from activist Tariq Raouf urging people to boycott all things Harry Potter to send a message that transphobia doesn't pay.
In the comments of that post, Pascal chimed in: "Awful disgusting SHIT is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior."

The Last of Us star's comments went viral as fans praised him for once again standing up in support of trans rights and transphobes cried about it.
In June, Vanity Fair published a lengthy interview with Pascal that included a quick conversation about his decision to speak out against Rowling and the larger response to it.
"The one thing that I would say I agonized over a little bit was just, 'Am I helping? Am I fucking helping?'" he admitted. "It's a situation that deserves the utmost elegance so that something can actually happen, and people will actually be protected."
This is a good opportunity to point out that Pascal does have a personal reason to care about the constant attacks against trans people. He's very close with his younger sister, Lux, who came out as trans in 2021.
"Listen, I want to protect the people I love," he added when speaking with Vanity Fair. "But it goes beyond that. Bullies make me fucking sick."
Rowling lashes out at Pascal

Despite having no qualms throwing her considerable influence and finances around to turn the tides against trans people, Rowling has repeatedly shown that she's unable to take criticism for her cruelties without petty responses. And she proved it again after Pascal's interview circulated online.
At the end of June, she posted an image containing a picture of Pascal and the headline of a gayetyarticle covering his interview: "Pedro Pascal Shuts Down Rowling, Defends Trans Rights, and Reflects on Fame at 50."
"Can't say I feel very shut down, but keep at it, Pedro," she wrote. "God loves a trier."
As Ray Flook at Bleeding Coolpointed out, her remarks didn't make much sense. She seemed to be interpreting a headline summarizing the content as Pascal himself claiming to have shut her down. It's also unclear what her assertion that "God loves a trier" really has to do with anything.
Maybe it's time for Rowling to put down that whiskey glass — or get all that mold checked out.
Martina Navratilova inserts herself into the drama

Once beloved of the LGBTQ+ community, former tennis pro turned outspoken TERF Martina Navratilova also weighed in. “Another Johnny come lately telling women to STFU,” she wrote on Twitter.
This isn’t the first time Navritilova has weighed in on celebrities who have criticized the author’s anti-trans screeds, previously telling Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe to “Just be quiet Daniel. Be quiet.” in a tweet after he wrote a moving essay or The Trevor Project, in which he wrote “Transgender women are women. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people…”
So really, her bandwagoning here is hardly a surprise, though it remains disappointing.

Elliot Page closed out Pride weekend with an Instagram post that needed only two emojis to make his point.
In the photo, Page and Overcompensatingactress and comic Julia Shiplett leaning into each other in matching dark jackets and sunglasses, the pavement beneath them painted in vivid rainbow stripes, was captioned simply with a rainbow and a double heart emoji. Within minutes, everyone had the same takeaway: the Umbrella Academy star just hard-launched his first public relationship since transitioning in 2020.
For Page, 38, the reveal marks a new public chapter after several very private ones. He came out as transgender in December 2020, divorced dancer Emma Portner five months later, and wrote candidly in his 2023 memoir Pageboy about past relationships with Kate Mara, Olivia Thirlby, and an unnamed closeted actress. Last summer, he told theLos Angeles Times that post-transition dating felt “the most fun I’ve ever had,” crediting a newfound ease in his body for deeper connections. Saturday’s grin seems to prove it.
Shiplett, best known for her dry-as-dust turns in Prime Video’s queer rom-com Overcompensating and cult favorites High Maintenance and Love Life, seemingly confirmed the news in equally word-sparse fashion. Her Instagram Story showed Page standing shirtless in a steaming hot spring, the caption reading, “Happy prideee 💦😮💨.”

Shiplett, 38, has also built a stand-up following by skewering bisexual panic, awkward hookups, and millennial ennui—material that dovetails neatly with Page’s dry humor. The pair has so far kept specifics offline, and representatives for both declined to comment. Still, the timing of the post on Pride’s final weekend reads like a deliberate love letter to the community that has championed Page’s journey from Juno breakout to trans icon.
Until we see them on a red carpet or trading giggles in someone else’s selfie, that single rainbow road will have to suffice. But for now, Pride 2025 ends with a reminder that queer joy and a well-placed emoji can light up an entire feed.
Joshua Jackson opens up about a memorable gay scene in 'Cruel Intentions' in a new interview.

Nineties heartthrob Joshua Jackson, who stole our hearts as bad boy Pacey Witter on Dawson’s Creek, is proving why he’s continued to be iconic by getting candid about a certain explicit gay sex act he once performed on camera.
During a recent interview with Men’s Health, the 47-year-old actor opened up about his eye-opening role in the 1999 teen erotic thriller Cruel Intentions, where he starred alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe, and Selma Blair. And we can’t forget Eric Mabius, who shares a particularly memorable scene with Jackson in the film.
"I wasn't on Cruel Intentions very much, but I do believe that my first day on this movie was giving a man head," Jackson said.

In a film full of memorable sexy moments that led to queer awakenings (remember when SMG and Selma Blair kiss?), one scene has been living rent-free in every gay Millennial’s head ever since it premiered. We’ll never forget when Jackson’s character, gay high schooler Blaine Tuttle, was caught in bed giving a BJ to hot football jock Greg McConnell, played by Mabius.
Jackson may have been simulating oral to film the iconic scene, but he joked that it was “stressful” for him at the time.
"And that can be stressful for a 19-year-old heterosexual boy, to sit in a room, and give another man a blowjob,” he said.
The interview with Jackson is part of Men’s Health’s new “Stress Test” video series, where stars break down stressful moments from their careers.
“So my stress test on this was to commit myself to this job that I had taken on and really made sure that I was all in, so to speak,” Jackson explained.

After filming, Jackson didn’t see Mabius again until their paths crossed when the two men were in their 30s and Mabius moved in down the block from Jackson.
Jackson explained that he was taking out his trash when Mabius and his wife walked by. The two actors recognized each other, and both started blushing when Mabius' wife wondered what was going on.
"She's like, oh, how do you guys know each other? And two of us, now well into our 30s, both blushed scarlet red," Jackson said. "Like, how do you explain what that connection was?"
