Popular, longtime British YouTuber Dan Howell just publicly came out as gay.
Coinciding with Pride Month, Howell, who has been creating content on YouTube for the past decade and is one-half of the Dan & Phil duo, shared a lengthy, heartfelt, 45-minute video to his channel earlier today, coming out to his fans and sharing his journey of acceptance.
"This really feels like a new chapter for me," he wrote in a tweet to his fans about the response to his coming out. "I doubted all my life that the world would change to be a place I could personally feel open and accepted and that’s because of all of you. Thank you."
