We’re suddenly so into UK politics.
The gays are rather thirsty for a recently-elected politician in the United Kingdom called Carl Cashman.
At 31 years of age, Cashman has been elected as the new leader of the Liberal Democrat opposition group in the Liverpool Council. He previously served as the leader of the Liberal Democrats in Knowsley, but has risen to a new position of power.
“I’m thrilled to be leading a group of people in key positions who can work alongside me and take this party forward in Liverpool,” Cashman said following his election (via ECHO). “It’s time for a different kind of leadership and a different kind of politics and I’m confident we can continue to grow and deliver the change required.”
Though local UK politics is rarely a topic of heavy interest to girls, gays, and theys on the internet, it’s not hard to see why Mr. Cashman has gained quite a legion of admirers on social media as of late.
