RuPaul’s Drag Race star Lexi Love just announced her engagement in the middle of Pride Month!

The season 17 queen made the announcement today on Instagram with a sweet engagement photo of her holding the face of partner Jay Groff while the pair both wear white and embrace under the cover of a sheer white veil. (See the photo here.)

“We got ENGAGED!!! I could write a book about my love for you but I’ll just say this: I promise to love you to my fullest capacity everyday for as long as we both live,” the caption reads.

The engagement comes just over a month since the 34-year-old trans performer announced she was undergoing a 30-day rehab program for substance abuse in the hopes of reaching complete sobriety, Entertainment Weekly reported.

"I was brave enough to take my mental, [physical], and emotional health serious for the first time ever,” she wrote on social media at the time.

Lexi tied with Sam Star for third place on the Drag Race season 17 finale, and announced afterwards that she would be taking a break from performing to take care of her mental health.

PRIDE reached out for comment but did not hear back at the time of publication.
