Even at sea, gay men love to feel the rush.

Back at Folsom Street Fair in 2025, RU5H officially teased their first-of-its-kind queer party festival at sea. RU5H is the new queer sex-progressive brand created for a new generation of gay travelers looking to connect and unleash in very sex-positive environments.

After making a splash at Folsom last year, RU5H launched their first ever cruise that set sail to Nassau, Bahamas October 2-5, 2026. The epic weekend was a gay fever dream as it featured world-renowned DJ's, parties that went until sunrise, and naturally, plenty of safe spaces where patrons could sexually express themselves without judgment.

Randle Roper, CEO & Co-Founder of RU5H, was determined to make the inaugural RU5H cruise an experience that would take gay travel to a whole other level.

"The response to our inaugural RU5H confirmed the need for a new kind of gay vacation: high-energy parties, sex-progressive experiences, and the freedom to explore and connect. In all my years in LGBTQ+ travel, I’ve never seen people embrace who they are and what they want so unapologetically. Watching that freedom come to life was magical," Roper says.

It's typical that many major LGBTQ+ cruises, establishments, or events feature dark rooms or certain areas for patrons to engage in sexual activity. Throughout the RU5H cruise, designated experience zones created an inclusive environment that encouraged everyone to join in on the fun. Even notable adult models from JustFor.Fans and Carnal Media hosted live sex shows on the main pool deck and at various theaters throughout the ship.

Patrick Gunn, CMO & Co-Founder of RU5H, believes the celebration of sex as part of the RU5H brand helps destigmatize queer pleasure.

"Part of RU5H’s mission is to eliminate the stigma surrounding gay sexuality. In these challenging times, it’s more important than ever to create environments where gay men and male-identifying people can come together freely, explore their sexuality without judgment or shame, and know that consent and boundaries will always be respected," Gunn says.

As a proud gay man myself, there's nothing I enjoy more than seeing members of my queer community simply love the skin they're in. I had the pleasure of connecting with so many beautiful queer people each day on the high seas. Plus, the diversity on the boat really made my heart so happy. Every color of our wonderful LGBTQ+ rainbow was represented as they indulged in all of the fun.

While RU5H has built a platform that focuses on sex-positivity, there are plenty of other wonderful opportunities to bond with everyone on the cruise. My personal favorite moments on the boat were simply grabbing food at the buffet, dancing the night away to the hottest global DJs, and sipping on cocktails with new friends at the pool.
