Troye Sivan does it again!
The gay pop superstar is receiving widespread critical praise and positive reviews for his fourth studio album, She's the Best. This era is proving to be one of Sivan's strongest yet as his unapologetically new queer project is resonating with fans all around the world.
Sivan kicked off the era with the lead single "She's the Best," which serves as an homage to the strong women in his life. The accompanying video featured guest appearances from Nicole Kidman, Sasha Colby, and other beautiful drag queens and trans women. Soon after, Sivan followed up with the second single "Party" that focused heavily on sexual liberation.
Now, the pop singer is slowing things down in the beautiful music video for his new single "FF" (short for "Fuck Forever"). Leading up to the release of the song, Sivan posted a slew of thirst traps and even teased that he considered joining OnlyFans for the album rollout.
"FF" is a very seductive video shot at a beach house on Fire Island. The video features Sivan getting intimate, sharing passionate kisses, and hitting a steamed-up shower with a handsome blonde lover played by actor Felix Mayr. Leading up to the release, Sivan joked that it's the "gayest video" of his career. Besides the spicy moments, he even pops a PrEP pill by MISTR in the bathroom.
The timing of the video also ties in beautifully for MISTR's second annual National PrEP Day at The Abbey in West Hollywood. Sivan's best friend and longtime collaborator, Leland, co-wrote every song of She's the Best and served as a DJ for the star-studded bash.
"When Troye showed me the video for 'FF,' I told him, 'I don't think you know how important this video is.' The first time I saw two guys kissing was the Christina Aguilera 'Beautiful' video. It's still burned in my brain as part of my upbringing. That was the first moment where gay love started to feel normalized and I wasn't crazy! This would have made such an impact on little Leland," Leland tells Out.
She's the Best is streaming everywhere now. Watch the video for "FF" by Troye Sivan below!
