200 episodes later, we’re still obsessed with ‘UNHhhh’!

As of 2023, Trixie Mattel and Katya are reaching the 200th episode of UNHhhh, their original series on WOW Presents Plus.

Between discussions about straight people, gay people, driving, using cellphones, love, fears, and even the weather, no single topic has been off-limits to Trixie and Katya. While these two drag superstars first met on season seven of RuPaul’s Drag Race, they didn’t necessarily strike any significant bond in the werk room. It was when they were given a comedy show, UNHhhh, to talk about “whatever they wanted” that a close friendship started to blossom.

In the years that followed Drag Race season seven, Katya finished as a runner-up on All Stars 2 and Trixie went on to win All Stars 3 – with UNHhhh serving as the glue that kept them together and documented their ever-evolving friendship. Now, Trixie and Katya are true best friends and business partners who tour, write books, and host podcasts together, all while also reaching the 200-episode milestone for UNHhhh.

“Phones” (Episode 86)

In this thrilling episode about the usage and overall importance of phones, Trixie and Katya have a deep and hilarious discussion about the mobile devices we can no longer live without. This episode also includes a dramatic reenactment of Tammie Brown on All Stars 1 and a discussion about cellphone nostalgia.

“The 90s” (Episode 57)

As two '80s babies, Trixie and Katya have plenty of memories from the 1990s that they were happy to share. This particular episode of UNHhhh features exhilarating discussions about the fight between Oscar de la Renta and an Oscar Mayer wiener, as well as how clothing items like “chokers” are suddenly coming back into fashion. Plus, Trixie reveals her collection of Barbies from McDonald’s!

“RDR9 Promo Reaction” (Episode 38 1/2)

Trixie and Katya don’t always discuss RuPaul’s Drag Race on UNHhhh, but they did record an entire episode with their reactions to the cast of season nine. Their hottest hot takes include calling Alexis Michelle’s gown a “beautiful squirt,” screaming uncontrollably for Farrah Moan, and describing Nina Bo’Nina Brown’s promo look as a “sci-fi hooker from Avatar.”

“Driving” (Episode 85)

It took Trixie four attempts to get her driver’s license… but she rarely drives anymore since moving to Los Angeles. Though this episode is about “driving,” the conversation quickly turn into creepy taxi drivers and how Trixie would never have sex in drag. Otherwise, Katya reveals how bad of a driver she is and Trixie gives her some “pointed silence” in response.

“Straight People” (Episode 131)

As Trixie notes, “2020 is about giving up on gay people in general and back-paddling to the true monsters: heterosexuals.” Straight people certainly need to be observed, examined, and discussed, so it was obvious that Trixie and Katya would explore this subject on UNHhhh. Their conversations include childhood trauma, how stupid football is, and a story about Katya being chased by a FedEx truck.

“Season 7 React” (Episode 135)

For episode 135, Trixie and Katya bravely reacted to footage of their time competing together on season seven of Drag Race. Between cringing, explaining themselves, and bringing up old memories, this is by far one of the funniest episodes in UNHhhh history. Fans of Drag Race just can’t get enough of these two re-living their “trauma, trials, and tribulations” on the show.

“Drinking” (Episode 62)

Trixie and Katya reminisce ­– in a very lighthearted way – on their roller-coaster relationships with drinking during this hilarious episode. Overall, Katya has been very open about her journey with addiction and staying sober. Alas, this is nothing but a fun reflection on their funny drunk stories, how old they were when they drank alcohol for the first time, and how drinking and dating can be tricky sometimes.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars” (Episode 73)

This legendary UNHhhh episode is all about Katya’s experience on All Stars 2 and Trixie’s time on All Stars 3. Overall, the duo talks about how much harder All Stars is in comparison to Drag Race given that all of the contestants are now rich, confident, and famous. They also get into the contentious topic of whether or not Katya was “robbed” for not winning All Stars 2… which, spoiler alert, Katya couldn’t care less about!

“Drugs” (Episode 63)

The drags talk about drugs in episode 63 of UNHhhh. During this acid trip of an episode, Trixie and Katya talk about all sorts of experiences they’ve had with certain substances. As Katya shares her knowledge and revisits a few stories throughout her life, Trixie asks the important questions that the audience wants to know.

“Gurl, You Gay” (Episode 119)

Trixie and Katya trained their entire lives for “the gay episode” of UNHhhh, so it’s not shocking at all that this turned out to be one of the most hilarious moments in the history of the series. The queens talk about all of the advantages of being gay: from being fast walkers to having more fun to collecting Barbie dolls. Trixie and Katya also provide a full explanation for why gay girls are the superior race above all other individuals – and facts are facts, America!
