Shawn Mendes' L'Uomo Vogue Shoot Will Melt Your Gelato
But that's ok because it probably wasn't real gelato anyway.
L’Uomo Vogue, based in lovely Milano, released its feature of Canadian heartthrob, singer-songwriter and teen-angst alchemist Shawn Mendes last week, and the Internet is eating it up.
The Italian magazine's October issue, titled "The Charmers," features Mendes in a short article by Nicoletta Spolini, a photoset from photographer Sebastian Kim and a video by L'Uomo Vogue contributing fashion editor Ruska Bergan.
Makes you wish you had the voice of an angel and abs of a Grecian twunk, right?
Mendes released his new LP, "Illuminate," on Sept. 22, and three titles from the album are currently in the top 100, according to Billboard. By now, you've no doubt heard his hit "Treat You Better," which has peaked at No. 6 on the charts since its release, up from No. 8 last week.
Just in case all that success makes Mendes seem like a bit of a big shot, let's all take a moment to recognize the real star of the show: this beautiful, witch-chic poncho from Valentino.
Boys are nice to look at, but ponchos are forever.

To close, here's a quick Italian lesson that my professors definitely didn't teach me in college and that I definitely learned from someone unaffiliated with the University of Arizona. If you see Shawn on the street, shout "FIIIIIIIIIIGO" but inside your head because catcalling is bad and he probably doesn't know Italian.
