What do straight people think lesbians look like? That’s the question indie filmmaker Jodi Savitz answered when she performed a sociological experiment of sorts and interviewed 15 straight people on what lesbians look like and which lesbians are out in the media as part of her larger project, her Girl on Girl documentary.

One woman said she thought lesbians were “tall,” and at 5’2” I wish that one were true!

Savitz went on to ask her interviewees to name three out lesbians in the media, which none of them could do, and which is incomprehensible for this pop-culture addled brain.
