Homophobes Are Freaking Out Over This Dressed Up Ken Doll Cake

Probably the best way to freak out homophobes, TBH.

In case you’ve ever wondered how easy it is to freak out a homophobe, this really takes the cake. But, no, seriously, people are freaking the eff out about this cake, and it’s literally the most ridiculous thing. Basically, Sacramento, Calif.'s Freeport Bakery innocently made a cake featuring a Ken doll in a dress.

Naturally, it was IMMEDIATELY politicized.

But that wasn’t the intent. When they shared it, the bakery captioned the photo, “Ken's looking good.” And, like, he did. He can seriously rock a dress.

At the end of a day, a cake is a cake is a cake. Cakes don’t make us gay, or at least we haven’t heard of this happening. It’s proof that homophobia is rampant, and that people will turn nothing into something just to push their own homophobia. Marlene Goetzeler, a Freeport Bakery co-owner, told KTXL TV, “I was shocked that somebody would be offended.”

Because it’s a damn cake! People love acting like queer people are always getting pissed over nothing, but clearly it’s the homophobes who need to loosen up.

As one commenter said, “Don't let the negative people get to you. You made a loyal customer an order........That's what we business owners do, cater to our customers!!!! Judgy people are miserable with themselves!”

Exactly. So eat the cake, or don’t. No one cares either way. Besides, it wasn’t for you.
