Join Jane Lynch, the 2,350 bicyclists, and 600 volunteer “roadies” as they arrive in Los Angeles to finish the 10th annual AIDS/LifeCycle.
The seven-day LifeCycle journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles raised awareness about HIV/AIDS and a record $13,060,000 in critically needed funds for the HIV/AIDS-related services of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Thousands will cheer the cyclists—including celebrity trainers Cara Castronuova and Scott Herman at the Closing Ceremony of the world’s largest annual HIV/AIDS fundraiser.
Center board member Lynch (Glee) will take part in the “riderless cycle” portion of the ceremony, in which a bike with no rider represents the lives lost to HIV/AIDS.
Saturday, June 11 at 4:00 PM the ceremony begins in Lot 7 at the grounds of the Wadsworth Theatre, VA Center, 11301 Wilshire Blvd., LA.
