Kathy Griffin's Possible Lesbian Hook Up and More

Kathy Griffin gets serious about gay rights, offends Jesus lovers, tells Miley Cyrus she can suck it and manages to promote her new book Official Book Club Selection all in a 15 minute interview with Advocate.com. The fearless comic also said she'd go lesbian for Kate Gosselin.

Kathy Griffin talked gay rights, offended Jesus lovers, told Miley Cyrus to suck it, and promoted her book Official Book Club Selection in a 15 minute interview withAdvocate. She basically self-promoted her way to being a huge comedy and gay icon from starting as Brooke Shields’s sitcom sidekick. Even Joan Rivers admits that Griffin "stole [her] gays."

Aside from her show on Bravo, My Life on the D-List, being one of the gayest shows on TV, she had an entire episode dealing with the serious subjects of gay marriage and Matthew Shepard. Griffin can't stay too serious for long, and the anticipation of her book release on September 8th gets back to funny business as usual.

Even with all these successes, and her amazing bikini body that rivals her BFF Paris Hilton's model figure, she remains on the D-List. It may be in part due to her "splitting [her] time between gay activism and bikini modeling," and the stress of being pulled in both directions.

On the topic of going both ways, Griffin said "I would love to have a hot lesbian relationship, but, I’m gonna be honest, I would probably be doing it for the publicity. Currently, I think the best person I could have a lesbian relationship with would be Kate Gosselin from Jon & Kate Plus 8. Because I think that would get us on the cover of Us Weekly faster than anything."

She would, of course, put the photos in her next book. If those photos don't work out, Griffin feels like a one-nighter with Dina Lohan would make a perfectly good photo-op.

Her view on how to survive the rough entertainment industry? "You know, if you can get through a gay wedding in a church in Atlanta, there’s nothing you can’t handle."
