The Dinah has announced a new headliner and joining the largest lesbian event of the year is Grammy-award winning hip-hop group Salt-N-Pepa!

Mariah Hanson, founder of Club Skirts, has set the bar for one of the biggest lesbian blowout events of the year. The confirmed performance of rap trio Salt-N-Pepa only adds to the already star-studded entertainment program including Ke$ha, Paradiso Girls and Lolene.

Celebrating the Dinah's milestone 20th anniversary, Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandra "Pepa" Denton will be headlining (minus Spinderella) Saturday night's "Hollywood Party" at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

With hits like "Push It" and "Shoop" and having changed the face of female rap music in the 1980's, Salt-N-Pepa have sold over fifteen million albums and singles worldwide. They were the first female rap act to go gold or platinum; and the first female rap act to have a multi-platinum album.

"Much like the Dinah has over the years changed the face of lesbian-event production, Salt-N-Pepa have changed the face of women in music. We herald them as the perfect headliner for our signature event," says Hanson.

Last year, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and the Indigo Girls headlined the lesbian super-event sponsored by Club Skirts. The 2010 Dinah Weekend will be held March 31st to April 4th.
