The audiobook for Hayley Kiyoko’s upcoming novel is going to be as wonderfully queer in cast as it is in content.

The singer announced this week that Natalie Naudus, Brandon Flynn, Malia Pylers, and Katie Gavin would join her in voicing the characters from her book, Girls Like Girls, which comes out next month.

“They have all made such a positive impact on the queer community through their art and by living their authentic truth each and every day,” Kiyoko said. “I couldn’t have asked for a better cast to help me tell this story.”

Girls Like Girls, inspired by Kiyoko's own music video of the same name, follows 17-year-old Coley as she and her father move to rural Oregon following her mother’s death. There, she meets Sonya, and the girls have to work through their own issues and insecurities to determine whether they can “accept the love they fear and deserve most.”

Flynn is best known to fans from his role as Justin Foley in 13 Reasons Why, while Pyles recently gained attention via HBO Max’s Pretty Little Liars reboot, Original Sin, and Gavin is the lead singer of MUNA.

While not much is known about their roles just yet, Naudus, a professional audiobook narrator, shared on Twitter that she will be voicing Sonya in the audio version of the novel.

Pyles similarly expressed her excitement, sharing Kiyoko’s post to her Instagram stories and writing, “queer literature is so sooooo important!!! and my gay ass heart is so happy! can’t wait for you to hear @hayleykiyoko’s amazing story.”

Both the novel and the audiobook version of Girls Like Girls will be released on May 30.
