They've got that "looking for a third" vibe down.

The Heartstopper cast may not always be the most active on social media, but they truly never disappoint when they do pop up.

This weekend was star Joe Locke’s 20th birthday, and he appeared to enlist some familiar faces to join him in celebrating the occasion—namely, costars Kit Connor and Tobie Donovan.

The three posted a number of adorable pictures from both the night they went out and the hungover morning after, with one playful post in particular catching fans’ attention.

“Met this cute couple tonight, invited me back to theirs but not sure I should go,” Locke wrote, sharing a picture of the other two staring at him in a truly pitch perfect imitation of the “couple seeking a third” trope.

Naturally fans know it’s just a joke, but they were more than happy to play along—or at least be taken along for the ride.

Connor also shared a new pic of Locke that he referred to as “hungover chic,” and the two had an exchange on Locke’s own Instagram post acknowledging his birthday that kept the amusement rolling.

Season two of the hit series dropped on Netflix earlier this summer, and with production on season three of Heartstopper expected to begin soon, everyone’s clearly hyped to see members of the cast hanging out and keeping the anticipation alive! Now if only we can hear some news about whether or not there's a season four...

But in the meantime, happy birthday, Joe Locke!
