Lukas Gage & Chris Appleton Make Their Relationship Instagram Official
“Bake me into a pie.”
You and White Lotus star Lukas Gage and celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton are no longer playing it coy and have made their relationship Instagram official.
This is a pleasantly surprising move from Gage, who is notoriously private with his personal life and sexuality. Fans speculated the two were together but those suspicions weren't confirmed until last week when Appleton appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show.
“Listen, I’m very happy," he told Barrymore. "Very much in love and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special.” Then Barrymore put a photo of Gage up on the screen and Appleton confirmed their romance. “Here’s to love,” he said.
Even after that, Gage stayed relatively mum. Yesterday, Appleton posted a carousel of the two together on Instagram with the caption, "Apple of my eye."
The photos are absolutely adorable, and if you need evidence that the two are clearly in love, Gage left not one but four separate comments on the post. "apple to my ton," he wrote, then “Bake me into a pie,” and, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” and then, “Forget the apple you the whole orchard,” complete with a heart emoji.
Talk about a power couple!
In 2010, Appleton won the BBC television competition: Young Hairdresser of the Year.
According to Google, Appleton is currently worth $5 million.
Appleton is from Leicester, United Kingdom.
