The ‘STFU!’ singer didn’t hold back on calling out her fellow artist.

Rina Sawayama channeled her inner John Wick 4 assassin when she seemingly took verbal shots at singer Matty Healy during her performance at Glastonbury on Saturday.

During her set, Sawayama introduced her performance of “STFU!” and surprised audiences by throwing major shade during a dedication of the song to the person who inspired it.

“I wrote this next song because I was sick and tired of these microaggressions,” Sawayama began. “So tonight, this song goes out to a white man who watches ‘Ghetto Gaggers’ and mocks Asian people on a podcast.” Sawayama added, “He also owns my masters. I’ve had enough!”

While Sawayama didn’t call out Healy by name, it quickly became clear who she was referring to, as he was formerly a director at the record company Dirty Hit (which Sawayama has been signed to since 2019, hence the reference to her masters).

As for the rest, Sawayama was referencing Healy’s appearance on The Adam Friedland Show earlier this year in which he said and did various heinous things including sharing that he watches racist porn, mocking rapper Ice Spice (who didn’t respond when he slid into her DMs), and laughing along as the cohosts make racial and misogynistic comments about the “Princess Diana” artist, referring to her as an “Inuit Spice girl” and a “chubby Chinese lady,” then imitating stereotypical Chinese and Hawaiian accents.

Healy later apologized to Ice Spice saying he felt “kind of a bit sorry” if he had “offended” her. He added, “Ice Spice, I’m sorry... It’s not because I’m annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It’s because I don’t want Ice Spice to think I’m a dick.” He went on to admit we all get it wrong.
