As if we needed another reason to thirst after Pedro Pascal!

Every once in a while the internet gods smile upon us. Today is one of those days.

As if we didn’t already have the hots for daddy Pedro Pascal, a 60 second clip from his upcoming gay western Strange Way of Life was released and we are OBSESSED!

We had been told that there would be a scene in the film where we would see The Last of Us star’s butt, but nothing could have prepared us for it.

In the 30-minute short film directed by Pedro Almodóvar, Pascal plays Silva, opposite The Black Phone’s Ethan Hawke as Sheriff Jake. In it, the two lovers are reunited after 25 years apart and old flames are rekindled.

The clip that we can’t stop watching shows Pascal lying on his stomach in Sheriff Jake’s bed with a shirt on and nothing else. Lucky for us the camera lingers on his naked butt before he gets out of bed and his annoyingly long shirt covers him up.

You know that Tex Avery cartoon where the wolf’s chin drops and his eye’s bulge out? That’s us right now!

On top of the delicious eye candy, we also see Pascal and Hawke lovingly embrace as Silva wraps Jake in a towel when he gets out of the bath. There is also a second clip out there of a flashback scene where young versions of our main characters (played by José Condessa and Jason Fernández) are seen making out while wine drips all over them—trust us, it’s hot!

While the director’s opening remarks before screening the film at TIFF made it clear that there would be no nudity, we do get this sexually charged shot of Pascal’s bare bum—just not the full-frontal scenes you may have been dreaming about.

“There are a lot of scenes with Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke. I am sorry to say that they are not naked… You are not going to see them naked, but you are going to see two wonderful [performances],” Almodóvar said.

However, In an interview with Indie Wire Almodóvar did allude to “erotic and carnal” scenes. “The film is full of these moments that are erotic without being explicit sexually or having to do with any kind of physical nakedness,” he said. “There’s a certain intensity, these pauses, that are very erotic and carnal for me.”

Although we may not get to see all of our fantasies come to life in this new short film, we are still dying to see it! Lucky for us we don’t have to wait long because Strange Way of Life premieres in theaters on October 6.
