"I did want to go as far as possible."

First, getting rimmed by Murray Bartlett in HBO's White Lotus. Then, getting peed on in Netflix's You. Actor Lukas Gage is getting all of the good roles in Hollywood lately.

Gage plays Adam Pratt on season four of the beloved series starring Penn Badgley. He's an obnoxious trust funder who has a few dirty secrets from his fiancé to be, including a penchant for golden showers. Not that that's dirty, we don't kink shame here.

In part one, episode two, Gage sneaks away into a freezer where a waiter whips it and out gets to work all over him. It was a shocking moment for viewers but a hilarious moment for Gage, who recently told Hollywood Reporter that he always wants his sex scenes to go the extra mile. (Fans have kindly turned the scenes into gifs on Twitter, if you'd like a peek.)

“I didn’t think it was going to be hot for people,” he said. “But I did want to go as far as possible. It can’t be a half rim job, or a half golden shower — although we did use a water machine with yellow food coloring.”

These kinds of scenes have been popping up a lot for Gage lately, but he did want to clarify that he's not exactly seeking them out, they've just been, ahem, thrust upon him.

“I did not know that I was going to get peed on in You when I took the part. I’m not, like, asking my agents to send me only roles where I’m half naked,” he said, but he's no prude either.

“I guess I’m a little more European in my thoughts on nudity right now. I’m not begging to take my clothes off, but I’m comfortable with it. I want to keep a sense of truthfulness, too: If there’s a scene where I’m having sex with my boss, it’s gonna be pretty fucking weird if I have clothes on.”

Gage has been known to take on queer roles, appearing in a slew of movie and tv roles as of late, but he's never publicly labeled himself. Last year, Gage evaded addressing his sexuality after someone on Twitter tagged him in a post about non-LGBTQIA+ actors playing queer characters. Gage responded, “u dont know my alphabet”. Another user asked Gage to "please, enlighten the whole world." Gage simply replied, "no", with a heart emoji.

Part 1 of You's fourth season is streaming now on Netflix. Watch the trailer below:
