Today during its Tudum global fan event, Netflix closed out the presentation with some very exciting casting news that Hamilton would be joining the massively popular sci-fi horror series Stranger Things for its fifth and final season.

Hamilton made a name for herself as a genre film star in the Terminator series, Children of the Corn, and Dante’s Peak. In more recent years, she has popped up on Chuck and Resident Alien. She also played a lesbian on Weeds, just sayin’. Needless to say, this is an exciting development for a series that’s hype is already through the roof.

There’s no word yet on when season five of Stranger Things will premiere, but the earliest we can expect it is likely spring or summer 2024.
