6 Comic Con 2014 Reveals That Blew Our Geeky Lesbian Minds

This year's Comic Con gave everybody something to look forward to for 2014.

Sci-fi, horror and comics galore captivated attendees of the 2014 Comic Con in San Diego. Among the many reveals during the convention, six stood out to us above the rest -- at least for us.

First, we cannot overlook the reveal of the new Wonder Woman portrayed by Gal Gadot. The Israeli actress and model dons a stunning, leather and metal war-ready ensemble. Gone is the red, white and blue outfit of old for this sword wielding warrioress. Gal Gadot is known for her roles in the Fast and Furious empire.

Mad Max: Fury Road made its trailer debut at Comic Con. Starring a shaved-head Charlize Theron, the movie will be the first Mad Max movie made in the franchise since 1985.

It was also revealed that one of the most known female badasses would be getting her own comic. Marvel announced the start of a new Satr Wars series and Princess Leia will be getting her own comic, which will be the first in the series. The creators say they will stay true to the franchise and bring the characters to audiences as if it were the sequel to the original 1977 movie.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For also debuted the trailer at Comic Con. Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson heat up the screen in the next installment of the franshise. Check out the trailer below.

Spider Woman will be joining the Spider family as they combat evils in the Spider-Verse. Spider Woman has been a secret agent, alien hunter and an agent of Hydra. Spider Woman will be getting her own series come November.

Last, but certainly not least, Hunger Games: Mokingjay made an appearance at Comic Con. The next installment of the very successful books-turned-to-movies franchise captivated audiences. The premier of the new trailer sent the Internet into a stir when glimpses into Katniss Everdeen's next heroing adventure. Check out the trailer below and see what all the buzz is about for yourself.
