Last year, Taylor Hale made history as the first Black woman to win a non-celebrity edition of Big Brother. Plus, she won America's Favorite Player, which made her the first winner to also secure the fan-favorite award.

Although the 24th season had fans on the edge of their seats last summer, audiences are currently waiting longer than usual for the 25th season due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike. Fans will have to wait for new episodes until the premiere on August 2nd.

"Here's a crazy concept. The fans are going to have to touch grass this summer. Here's my advice. Put on a thong bikini, get on a yacht, and shake your ass! That's my recommendation," Hale tells PRIDE.

With so much extra time until the new season, plenty of Big Brother fans have been speculating as to what twists and turns will be thrown at the contestants.

Hale is manifesting some of the most beloved competitions will make a return in upcoming episodes.

"It's big! 25 years... come on. Maybe I'll host a competition and hopefully, I'll be actually be able to enter the house and do it. I would love to see iconic competitions coming back. Give me Pressure Cooker. I want to see those people standing with their finger on a button for hours. I want to see a really long wall competition. I want to see the spelling competition come back."

Speaking of spelling competitions, Hale revealed which word she would have used if she had the opportunity to compete last season.

"I went into that house with a word ready to go and I never got to play that competition. My word was chronothermometer. You just have to find a word you can build around."

Well, fans could potentially see her compete again as she is open to returning to Big Brother under a certain set of circumstances.

"[I'd compete] if it's all winners during the celebrity time frame. It's gotta be small."

Aside from her Big Brother hot takes, Hale is enjoying her summer so far and standing up for important causes.

The star is a loud and proud LGBTQ+ advocate who's been hanging out with a ton of RuPaul's Drag Race alum, and like many, stanning Sasha Colby since she snatched the crown.

"You know I love me some Sasha Colby! I aspire to be like her. I'm inspired by her. I will always thank her for the example she set."

Hale has also been using her voice for good by attending a slew of Pride events this summer and encouraging her fans to donate to the ACLU Drag Defense Fund.

"It's just the right thing to do. These are people who are being targeted every single day. I have the privilege to have a fandom that is heavily queer. Being a minority in any sense all overlaps into each other. When we start targeting trans people, who else gets lumped into that? Historically, black women. It's a matter of protecting all of us. Anything that I can do to just make this a healthier space for all of us, that's something I'm willing to do."
