Vancouver Pride Parade and Dyke March in Photos

This past weekend, hundreds of thousands flocked not only from Canada, but many cities across the globe to take part in Vancouver’s annual Pride celebration. Friday night, LGBT Vancouverites and tourists alike flock to the West End, home of the Davie Street Dance Party and the city’s prime homo hotspot with enough restaurants, shops, clubs, and bars to satisfy everyone’s tastes. Take this, and add a giant dance floor in the middle of the street and you have yourself a truly perfect Pride kick-off.

Commercial Drive in Vancouver is where to be for Saturday’s Dyke March. The march ends at Grandview Park where the festival is flooded with every lesbian, bisexual, gender-queer or gender-nonconforming, curious, otherwise identified and supportive individual in British Columbia. There’s even quite a few dudes too! Sunday, as always, is reserved for the Pride parade that gives even Los Angeles a run for its money.
